●  In-situ miro-deformation of single and polycrystals & nano-wires

●  Texture analysis using XRD & EBSD and texture control in metallic materials (Al, Cu, Fe) by deformation and heat treatment

●  Deformation and heat treatment process development for high toughness and high formability of metals

●  Development of Al alloy with high formability and low planar anisotropy

●  Development of non-rusting Cu-Sn alloys with high formability

●  Nano-composites for automobiles with high specific strength & for LED heat radiant materials with high thermal properties

●  Flexible electronics substrate with high adhesion using metal/polymer composites by plasma etching and electroless plating

●  Shape memory alloys for bio-applications such as stents and bio-actuators

●  Magnetic resonance (MR) image distortion reduction of shape memory alloy medical stents

●  Magnetic shape memory alloy developments for wireless micro-actuators
